The worm gear unit and worm screw are manufactured to the highest engineering standards and are exceedingly strong.
The threads running around the band are pressed in (rather than perforated) this increases the thread strength and means that the band when tightened will not tear into the hose. The smoother inner band gives a more consistent compression to the hose as tightened and results in less split hoses.
All Hi-Grip Zinc Plated Hose Clips have fully rounded edges to give the best possible protection to the hose.
This version of High-Grip is made from heavily zinc plated mild steel and is used for a wide variety of domestic, automotive & industrial applications.
